Linkages

Tunzabora plays a pivotal role in linking parents/guardians to childcare and ECDE facilities. This ensures children have access to quality care to enhance their growth.

Training child care givers and ECDE service providers

We provide a range of services to facilitate emotional, intellectual, mental, spiritual, moral, physical and social development and growth of children from birth to nine years. We train guardians, caregivers and other stakeholders involved in the development of children to ensure they get quality care for their well-being. These trainings include parent counselling on child development, monitoring of developmental milestones, guidance on age-appropriate play and communication.

Child Development Support

Tunzabora works closely with childcare centres to provide child development support, knowledge and learning platforms to parents and caregivers. Parents are the first educators of their children. The support they provide affects children’s development, learning, and subsequent educational outcomes. Tunzabora helps in sharing information about their culture, and taking part in discussions about the childcare services. This provides the opportunity for parents to learn about children's learning, in the setting and at home.

Linking Child Product Merchants to Markets

Tunzabora provides a perfect marketplace for dealers in baby products to display and sell their products and meet potential customers. The platform links parents and caregivers to the market at affordable prices.

Promoting Evidence Generation on Childcare

Tunzabora leverages on available research to disseminate professional knowledge in to parents and caregivers. These researches also help in designing learning materials and identifying gaps in existing resources

Promoting Positive Childcare Dialogues

We work to promote dialogues surrounding gender norms , care redistribution and childcare regulations. Gender socialization is the process by which individuals internalize gender norms and roles as they interact with others. It starts at or before birth and continues through adolescence and beyond It enhances the privilege and power of men and boys relative to women and girls and children of all genders
